Upon first seeing these beautiful birds I knew I had to sculpt them. I think they are some of the most beautiful birds on the planet; not only their design, but their coloring – wow. I hope I did this magnificent creature justice. I remember being at the Salt Lake zoo trying to get as close as I could to them, they came over and tried to peck at me through the fence.
