Artist Statement & Legal Notice
1. Original Artistic Expression
All works displayed on statues.com, including physical sculptures and digital renderings of those sculptures, are original works of fine art created and manufactured by Statues, Inc. These works represent independent artistic interpretations of their respective subjects. Under the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution and applicable Utah state laws, these sculptures are protected as transformative expression and speech.
2. Manufacturing vs. AI Disclosure
We provide the following transparency statement regarding our creative and marketing processes:
- The Statues: Every statue offered for sale in our shop is a physically manufactured product. We do not use generative AI to “create” the final physical forms; rather, they are the result of traditional and digital sculpting, molding, and casting processes directed by human artists
- Staging & Photography: To provide a high-quality visual experience, we may use generative AI tools solely for environmental staging, backgrounds, or lighting in our product photography. These AI-enhanced “scenes” showcase our physical statues in various aesthetic settings.
3. Non-Affiliation & Endorsement Disclaimer
Statues.com is an independent art studio. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, the sculptures of public figures, historical icons, or celebrities offered in our shop are not licensed, endorsed, sponsored by, or affiliated with the individuals depicted, their estates, or any associated foundations. The use of a public figure’s likeness is intended solely for artistic commentary, critique, and commemorative purposes, and does not imply any personal endorsement of our products by the subject.
4. Intellectual Property & Copyright
All content on this website, including sculpture designs, 3D models, text, and images, is the exclusive intellectual property of Statues.com and Statues, Inc.
- No Reproduction: The purchase of a physical statue does not transfer copyright. Unauthorized 3D scanning, casting, or reproduction of our designs for commercial use is strictly prohibited and protected under Federal Copyright Law.
- Trademark Notice: Names of public figures are used descriptively to identify the subject of the artwork and remain the property of their respective trademark owners.
5. Limitation of Liability
Statues.com and Statues, Inc. shall not be liable for any claims arising from the secondary use of our art by third parties. Buyer agrees that these statues are intended for private display or gallery exhibition.
