Ruth Bader Ginsburg was an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States, serving from 1993 until her death in 2020. Prior to her appointment to the Supreme Court, Ginsburg served as a judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.
Ginsburg was a trailblazer in the field of law and was widely recognized for her advocacy for gender equality and women’s rights. Early in her career, she co-founded the Women’s Rights Project at the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) and argued several landmark cases before the Supreme Court that helped to establish legal protections for women under the equal protection clause of the Fourteenth Amendment.
On the Supreme Court, Ginsburg became known for her thoughtful and incisive legal opinions and was widely regarded as one of the Court’s most liberal justices. She was also a strong advocate for women’s rights and equality, and was a vocal critic of efforts to roll back these gains.
Throughout her life and career, Ginsburg was widely admired for her intellect, her commitment to justice, and her ability to inspire others to fight for what they believe in. She remains an iconic figure and is widely regarded as one of the most important and influential women in American history.

Looks wonderful on the shelf in my office. A very good likeness of Justice Ginsburg, though certainly a younger likeness than most others on the market. It was important to me that this was a mold of a physical sculpture, rather than a digital piece. You can see the presence of a human hand in the tool marks and choices.
The mold is high quality, though there are some small molding errors. There are some bubbles in the cast, especially on the bottom of flat surfaces. This does NOT affect the stability or the look of the bust, as these marks are only visible from below, but it is something to be aware of. They do create a slightly rough surface on the bottom though, so I recommend attaching a felt pad if displaying on wood.
Overall, This sculpture honors the late Justice well, and I am thrilled to have it.
