Simón Bolívar, El Libertador
A custom portrait honoring the Venezuelan military leader and statesman whose campaigns helped secure independence across much of northern South America.
Created for a private client, this bust interprets the commanding presence of Simón Bolívar through Statues.com’s signature white bonded marble.
Known as “El Libertador,” Bolívar remains one of the defining figures of Latin American independence. The portrait format brings attention to his recognizable features and formal military character while offering a scale appropriate for an interior collection or commemorative display.
The sculpture was completed with a restrained old-world staining treatment. Applied lightly over the white bonded marble, the finish adds visual depth to the modeled details and gives the portrait an aged, archival character without concealing the material’s classical appearance.
A light old-world stain enriches recessed details and gives the white portrait a subtle sense of historical age.
